Strategy and build studio

Reform your brand with strategy + build.

A studio that does the whole job: brand strategy, web design, engineering, and the performance and SEO work that follows launch. We decide what your company stands for, build the site that proves it, then keep improving what it earns.

01

A process that is visible from week two

Discovery produces a written scope, a sitemap and a fixed price before any design begins. From week two there is a working staging site and a review at the same time every week, so you watch the work happen instead of waiting for a reveal.

02

Dates we commit to in writing

Most sites take six to eleven weeks from the end of discovery. Those dates go in the scope document with the milestones that support them, and if anything threatens one you hear about it that week, with options, rather than in the final fortnight.

03

Quality measured on real devices

Every build ships against a page budget, passes WCAG 2.2 AA on its core flows, and is tested on mid-range phones over throttled connections. Then 30 days of post-launch fixes are on us, because the first month of real traffic is where the truth shows up.

In their words

What clients say once the work is live

They pushed back on the brief in week one, which was annoying and completely right. We shipped a smaller site that says a much clearer thing, and enquiries went up the month it launched.
Elena NovakHead of Growth, Halo Financial
The weekly staging link changed how we worked. There was never a big reveal, just a site getting better in front of us, so nothing arrived at the end that anyone had to argue about.
Marcus FeldEcommerce Director, Northbound Supply
Two of our designers joined halfway through the project. They were shipping inside the system in a week because it was documented properly, which is not something I have been able to say before.

Questions

The things people ask before signing

Answered properly, including the ones with awkward answers. If yours is not here, ask us directly and you will get a straight reply within one working day.

With a 30-minute call and then a short paid discovery, usually one to two weeks. Discovery produces a written scope, a sitemap, a timeline with named dates and a fixed price. You own that document whether or not you continue with us, and roughly one in five clients takes it and builds elsewhere. We would rather that happen at the start than halfway through.

Tell us what is not working.

Send a short brief and you will hear back within one working day, from the people who would run the project. If we are not the right studio for it, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
